Cheers 2018

Image
2018 was one hell of a year. It tested my friendships, my relationship, my career and my strength. Just like every other year, it had its ups and downs. Don’t get me wrong, I had a lot of fun but I had my fair share of low moments. I went through one of the hardest times in my life in the middle of the year that challenged me physically and emotionally. To carry both of those weights at one time was a lot to handle.   I am still working through it - there isn’t a guide to tell you how to move forward. You just do it. I am choosing to remember the better times and leaving all the hurt in 2018.    2019 is about investing in myself, making room for things that matter, letting go of people that don’t and doing everything possible to try to stay positive, show gratitude and live in the moment. Cheers to 2018 xx, Trisha

Summer Florals

Image
Romper: Forever 21 // Shoes: Free People Hello September! I am hanging onto summer for as long as I can... making use of my summer wardrobe for a night out with friends! This was the perfect romper for the weather. I didn't even need a jacket! I love the colors with the floral print. It's not too crazy... I know floral can get out of hand sometimes! Rompers are great because you can dress it up or dress it down. I kept this pretty casual with flat sandals. If I wanted to dress it up, I would have paired this with heels and a moto jacket. I love rompers from Forever 21, Free People, Urban Outfitters and Revolve. Check em out while they are still here! Keep up with me on instagram @readysetwonder  xx, Trisha

June Favorites

First Aid Beauty Tinted Moisturizer  Sephora $28 This has been a holy grail for me lately. It is great for every day use. It's light weight for sensitive skin. There are 5 shades and I am in the shade medium. I wear this as is and if I need more coverage, I use this as a primer and put my foundation over it.  Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen Vitalproteins.com | | Amazon $49 I have been loving matcha lately! I switch off between coffee and matcha for my morning pick-me-up's. This is a brand new product to me. I've been doing a lot of research on collagen, gut health, skin/body care, etc...... you know, real adult like stuff that we don't always think about. Collagen has so many great benefits for hair, skin, nails and joints. Matcha itself is a natural energizer, high in antioxidants so this was a great pairing for me! I will say it is a bit pricey - you can find others similar to it on Amazon. Definitely do your research before purchasing to know if this

Bell Sleeves

Image
Vest: Anthropologie // Top: Free People // Jeans: Rag and Bone // Shoes: Free People I hunted for this vest at 5 different Anthropologie stores! A friend had it and I loved it so much but it was sold out online and in most stores around me. I called a local store after a little while and they had one left that was two sizes bigger than my normal. I got it anyways and I actually like it better a little oversized! It has the two different sherpa linings - it makes for a great layering piece.  The top I styled it with is so fun! I was instantly drawn to the bell sleeves and color. The sleeves are super flare and it jazz's up an outfit. I liked that I could show off the arm details with the vest. It's also a thermal material so it's warm but since it's a loose fit, it's a great transitional piece for winter to spring.   Follow me on instagram @readysetwonder for more! xx, Trisha

Met Gala 2018

OH MY GEE MET GALA 2018. I look forward to this every year. It's a time for fashion and art to come together. It is incredible. All the designers and stylists do an amazing job. This year's theme celebrated ' Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination curated by Andrew Bolton'. Here are some of my favorite looks. Photos via vogue.com Rihanna in  Maison Margiela by John Galliano QUEEN QUEEN QUEEN. Enough said.  Blake Lively in Versace 10/10 best of the best Gigi Hadid in Atelier Versace Shawn Mendes and Hailey Baldwin What a way to tell the world you are officially a couple?! I love the burgundy suit on Shawn. It was different from the all black look and it complimented Hailey's dress very well. She kept it minimal with the dress, accessorized perfectly but the cut is great on her.  Cardi B in Moschino  I knew she would dazzle but damnnnnnn Olivia Munn in H&M  Amber Heard in Carolina Herrera  This

Gingham Mini

Image
Dress: Urban Outfitters (sold out but here is a similar one)  I have been obsessed with gingham print lately. I know this has been around for a while but this spring, it seems to be back on trend. It's typically a true black and white print but I've seen it in such cute colors like pink and yellow. I'm on the hunt for a fun gingham set, so if you spot any, let me know in the comments!  I love with mini dresses like this, you can dress up or down. I wore this for a warm day out to lunch with friends. I kept it really simple with black booties. This would be great with sandals too!  xx, Trisha
