10 things...

that you should have in your bag/purse. I bet you girls out there all carry a bag or purse everywhere. Well here are a few things that I think would be handy to have with you. Of course, you'll have essentials like wallet, keys and phone. These items are just kind of random things that I always find myself needing at some point. This is in no particular order. #1: Advil I find that one of the most common things people ask other people for is Advil. Advil is great for headaches and general pain relief. You can find a little travel size tube of this at Target, Walgreens, etc. Those are nice because they are small and hold just the right amount. Also, the tube is reusable so you can just fill it later on and/or add other medicines. #2: Feminine products Oh yeah, you know what I'm talking about. This happens to all of us. I don't think this needs much explain. At least carry one just in case! #3: Lip Balm This is my daily essential. Although with Burt&#

Printed Pants

Printed Pants by leshautecouture featuring cotton pants My obsession with printed pants/leggings is out of control! I'm sure I'm not the only one because I see them all over stores now. I use to think they were really out there and too loud for me but now that more prints and colors are being made, I think they are really cute.  Here are a few examples of printed pants. Some are crazy and bright, while others are muted with black and white. The tribal print has been my favorite lately like in this past post and this one. My second favorite is floral print. Like these from Paige. The colors work so well for fall. They hit right at the ankle making it not too long and not too short to be considered cropped pants. Looks great with heels! (picture via Google.com) With printed pants, you have to accessorize well. By that, I mean less is more. The print already calls a lot of attention. Use accessories to tone it down. If you are hesitant to try this new, fun

You can say my shirt was inspired from the song by Kanye. Just a fun photo for you readers!  I wore this gray muscle tee with a pair of high waisted cut off shorts from Levis. I wish I could say I constructed the shorts myself, but I had a hard time finding the right high waisted pants to cut. So I opted to buy a pair of already made ones. These are vintage jeans that have been cut into shorts and distressed. The distress on the shorts are getting loose and will probably just look like holes soon. But nonetheless, I still really like them. The distress is shown in the front, side and back. Ignore the weird gathering, it's because they are cut offs of jeans and high waisted. These clear glasses are just clear lens. I actually got them at a concert. My friend was working a booth and got them for me. I've worn them occasionally but thought it worked well with this outfit.   I didn't accessorize much with this. Just my usual every day jewelry. For shoes, I

AMA 2012

I have been waiting for this for weeks! Not only for the fashion but for the performances and winners as well. I thought it was a good show overall. The line up for performers were great! One night of amazing artists, sharing their love of music. Dick Clark is brillent for thinking of this. Of course, I am here to recap my favorite red carpet looks of the night. Luke Bryan I'm obsessed. This country man looks great in a suit. Every time he steps out on the red carpet, he is so charming. And he won male country artist of the year! Woo! Ladies, take a minute and take his good looks in.  Carrie Underwood She had three dress changes! This was her red carpet look, then she changed into a blue dress when the show started, then changed into a black dress when she performed! Way to go Carrie. Each look was so gorgeous on her! I've said this multiple times already but I can't get over how pretty she is! This is my favorite dress on her from the night. I like the color a

H&M x Maison Martin Margiela

(pictures via Google.com) Whoever came up with this idea of big designers collaborating with generic clothing stores is genius. More designers are catching onto this trend now. If you recall, Jason Wu worked with Target, Diane Von Furstenberg with Gap Kids and Baby, Narciso Rodriguez with Kohls and Missoni with Target. H&M have been known for their partnerships with Versace, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Roberto Cavalli, Lanvin and Jimmy Choo. The point of these collabs are to sell designer merchandise, for a cheaper price. This is beneficial to those who want to wear designer clothes at a less cost.  Collections like this don't last long in stores though. Each store gets a certain amount during shipment and that's all they will have. This is another reason why they are wanted items. Lucky for you all, Maison Martin Margiela just launched a line with H&M and is in stores now! Clothes range from $49.00 to $400.00, which still seems pricey but if you
