People's Choice Award 2013

Hello readers! It's that time again. We are kicking off the award season with People's Choice Awards! I'm so excited about this one because it isn't just one type of media, but a combination of everything: music, movies and television series'. What a great night to enjoy with a room full of all these incredible actors, actresses, musicians, writers and directors.

I watched the stream of the red carpet arrivals. Wow! So much Spring colors going on. Although it is still Winter, my fellow fashionistas and I know that trends/fashion stays one step ahead of the game. Not all celebs walked the carpet but here are the best pictures that I could find.

Taylor Swift
OH MY GAWD. This is such a Taylor Swift dress. She's worn things similar to this before but it works so well for her, it's no wonder she goes back to this look. This is such a classic look by Ralph Lauren. You would think someone with such light skin as hers would look very pale against this white dress but she rocks it so well. It isn't too formal, which suits this award ceremony. I love that she didn't accessorize too much. Look at those earrings! I love that color against the white. It adds just a little pop but not too much to distract from the dress.

Rachel Leigh Cook
This color is going to be huge in the Spring. I am already starting to see designer collections with this color. This dress by Oliver Tolentino is simple yet elegant for this event. I'm glad she wore her hair up so show off her neckline and dress. With a strapless dress, a statement necklace looks great. If you look closely, the bottom is not trimmed equally but that makes the dress drape/flow on the carpet.

Lea Michele
Round of applause for Elie Saab! I love this dress. It's fun, young and so detailed. It has mesh, lace, sequence and beading! I'm glad they didn't make her look like a Barbie. She is so gorgeous and she makes the dress look good. Funny, because the dress is suppose to make her look good.

Ashley Rickards
Such a gorg dress by Aiden Mattox. I wouldn't have styled it on Ashley, just because she is so light with really dark hair. You can't really see the amazing detail in the dress. It is tailored to her well though. The beading looks so cool and I like how it makes different designs. The cinching at the waist definitely helps give the dress more shape.

There are my favorites from the night! Be sure to tune in and watch at 9:00pm pst!
There will be performers too!

Trisha
