SAG Awards 2013

Hello Screen Actors Guild Awards! What a night it was. One room full of amazing actors and actresses, producers and directors. One night of glamorous fashion. I watched the E! Live from the Red Carpet segment before the actual show. It looked like a really fun event. I mean if you think about it, if an actor has been in the business for 10+ years, they know a lot of people. So it just looked like one big reunion. 

I noticed a lot of different trends on the red carpet. Let's start with hair. The side part was a favorite of the night. Jennifer Laurence, Jessica Chastain and Naomi Watts all rocked it. Many actresses wore black. Very tailored and slimming. As always, I have picked out my favorites from the night. Starting with J Law!

Jennifer Laurence in Christian Dior 

It's a very simple dress. I was hoping for something more dramatic like her look from last year but she wears this well.

I love the color and the details on this dress. It shows off her great figure and is still fun and young. 

Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen

Such a big step up from her dress at the Golden Globes. I love the red with her hair and minimal jewelry. 

Naomi Watts in Marchesa 

I love everything about this! Spot on Naomi.

My favorite favorite of the night!! Amanda looked so pretty as she does always though. Her hair swept to the side looks so elegant. The dress's structure flatters her so much. The color is perfect. I like how simple it is. She didn't pile on the jewelry which was nice because the dress is saying a lot already.
