Polka Dots Dots Dots
Hey hey readers. I hope everyone is recovering well from the Superbowl weekend. Even though the 49ers lost, they played a really good game. Now that football is over... we can focus on hockey!! :)
Anyways, here is my OOTD! I've been lovin' how sunny and nice it has been this past week. Still a little chilly but no rain! Yay! Sign of an early Spring? Maybe. I had time to hang out at the lake for a little bit and enjoy the sunshine. There were so many people there doing the same! But take in the sun while it's here folks.
Today I decided to wear my denim polka dot shirt from Gap. I love this print. It's not too overdone. I styled it by tucking in the bottom and keeping the sleeves long instead of cuffing them. It's so cute and so on trend for the up-coming spring season. I feel like you could really dress this up or dress it down. Throw a blazer over it and you could wear it to the office. Dress down and wear it casually for an everyday look.
I personally don't always like to wear blue denim with blue denim so I paired it with black skinnys. I like the zipper detail on the pockets. It's just different than normal jeans. I added a black braided belt so it wouldn't look so plain at the hip line since I tucked the shirt in. The jeans were on sale at Cotton On for $10!
This is my first pair of booties! They are so popular this season and I have been seeing them everywhere. At first I thought they were gray but they are actually an olive color. Still a great neutral. They are simple with a small heel and buckles on the side. They were on sale at Forever 21 for a super good deal! I almost got the brown pair too but I figured I would try these first.
My necklace is also from Forever 21. It is short necklace with triangle/spike shapes. On the inside of the triangles are tribal/aztec looking designs. The rust gold gives it a cute vintage look.
Have a great week everyone! And thanks for reading!
