Trend or Fad?

Many celebrities have been making huge changes with their looks lately. How? By cutting off all their hair. Okay, maybe not all but almost all. I remember everyone made a huge deal when Britney Spears shaved off her hair. It's almost like that's when everyone wanted to cut their hair too. More recently, we've seen more and more a-listers rock the short boy cut. Here are some that went from long hair to short locks last or this year. so is this a trend or a fad? what do you guys think? xo, Trisha

Spring Trends 2013

(Jason Wu, Marc Jacobs, BCBG) Trend: Black and White Whether it is mixed with prints or just solids, black and white are such strong colors for the spring. Designers have emphasized these two colors so much in their spring collections.              (BCBG, Alexander Wang, Forever 21, Topshop) Trend: Cutouts Such a cute trend! I can totally see this carrying on to summer. I love the whole cut out look on dresses!                (Carven, Tory Burch, Michael Kors)  Trend: Short Suits A fun twist on the pant suit. Perfect for spring.                          (Rag & Bone, Oscar de la Renta, Chado Ralph Rucci, Derek Lam) Trend: Electric Colors I don't think neon is ever going to fade. NEXT. Start updating that spring wardrobe ladies! xo, Trisha

The Face of the Brand

Flipping through magazines, you'll see  advertisements  on every other page almost. It's crazy how many celebrities are now "the face" of all these big designers and labels. It makes sense though... have a high profile person wear/support your brand in order to make higher sales. That's really what it's all about. If a customer saw her favorite actress wearing a certain pair of shoes, she are more likely to buy those shoes. Not only is it an  endorsement  but a great marketing  strategy .  Here are some ad campaigns that I've seen. Most of the  celebrities  and designers start out as friends and then later on collaborate. Best example of that? Blake Lively and Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. Blake Lively x Karl Lagerfeld Mademoiselle Handbag collection  Lagerfeld calls Blake "the all-american girl". So no surprise, he chose her to be the face of the mademoiselle handbag collection. Some say he designed this collection  specifically  for h

I may be late in the game in seeing this collection but it's so cute! I just might have to get that pair that she is wearing. February Favorites

I know I am a little late for this but here are my favorites from February! Just a few things since I didn't try many new things during that month. They are beauty and food items mostly. Haha. Everyone was crazy about the girl scout cookies in Feb but I realized how bad those are for you. 2 of my favorite cookies from them equal 140 calories. For just two cookies! But I must say they are delicious. It was tough to past of them!  Here are my random favorites! EOS Lip Balm in Honeydew I had this when it first came out a few years ago. My friend got it and I thought it was so odd but smelled so good. She got me the red one (don't remember the flavor) and I loved it. I'm glad they came out with new flavors! Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Mint Sorbet I painted my nails twice this color in February. I love this color. You all know I'm all about this color! I'm currently wearing this color now! I painted one nail with a light teal to mix up the colors a li
