Stocking Stuffers

Image
In need of some last minute stocking stuffer ideas? I got you covered! I've come up with a few things that I have received in my stocking in the past and some things I have given. A good idea to fill the stocking is by getting little knick-knacks. These could be anything really. From food to hair goods to gift cards. 1. EOS Chapstick You can use any lip balm. The EOS just comes in a really unique packaging. It comes in many flavors so if you need to get multiple stocking stuffers, you can get these in all different flavors. 2. Socks You can never go wrong with socks. The best ones for the winter are the thick, fuzzy ones! They are super warm and so cozy to wear on a cold day. 3. Mini Candle Bath and Body Works makes the best mini candles in my opinion. They have a great assortment of scents. 4. Nail Polish Another great small item. Most time, you can find nail polish in sets as well so that would make a good filler. You can do Christmas colors like red, green, g

Layer It Up

Tunic & Long Sleeve: Free People // Pants: H&M // Shoes: Sam Edelman // Necklace: Urban Outfitters One way to keep warm in the Winter is to layer. It's a great way to style different pieces to make it work as one. A lot of people say it's hard to look cute in Winter clothes. I think if you style it the right way, you can be cute and warm! Luckily here in California, it doesn't get freezing until the night. So in the daytime, you can be more casual and not all bundled up. I layered two lightweight tunics. The white layer is actually more like a dress on me but it is really thin and sheer so I put a long sleeve tunic over it. These two pieces are great worn separately so I thought I would try them together to see what it would look like. I wanted to make sure the white tunic would show through so I knotted one side just to play with it a little bit.  It felt a little plain up top so I added a statement necklace. I love the coins and all the de

November Favorites

So this is going up later than I wanted it to but I just wanted to share my favorite items from November! 1. Harney & Sons Organic Orange Mango Juice So yummy! It isn't too sweet like a lot of fruit juices are. It tastes good with any meal and I get one at least once a week. I'm not sure where you can find these on the regular but I get it from a restaurant named Pluto's. 2. Homies T-Shirt I have been looking for this shirt for a while now and I found it at Urban Outfitters. It's a loose fitting tee and I wear it when I just feel like lounging around or running errands... aka lazy grungy days. It's suppose to be a take on the Hermès logo incase you missed the pun :) 3. Muddy Buddies Tastes like Reese Peanut Butter Cups! So delicious. I like that it is sweet and salty with the chex. It makes for a great snack and they are so addicting. 4. Ocean Salt by Lush This is an amazing face wash. It removes all that it needs to and leaves your skin fee

Style Steal: Hapatime

Image
In honor of "WCW" or Women Crush Wednesday.. I give you one of my favorite bloggers, Jessica of Hapatime ! I stumbled upon Jessica on Instagram which led me to her fashion blog. She is absolutely gorgeous and always has the best style posts. Her posts are inspiring and gives really good styling ideas. With that said, this is also going to be a style steal post!  Jessica recently posted this outfit. I love how casual she is but still very trendy and cute. With this cold weather, layering up on sweaters is the best. Check out my version of her outfit! Not exact, but pretty close, huh?  I love the camo trend and I think even though it is busy, it makes for a great neutral piece. This jacket is more of a fall jacket but that's why I layered it with another sweater as well. I'm sure Jessica had the same thought! She wore a light gray graphic tee and I happened to have a similar one too. To stay even warmer, I have on a darker gray infinity scarf. I love
