Print and Peplum

Do you guys ever have super lazy days? I feel like I have times when I just want to walk around in sweats all day and then there are days when I want to get dressed up. This was one of those get fancy days. Remember when the peplum was super in? Yeah this was probably one of my favorite tops. I spent forever looking for my size at all the H&M's around me and finally found it. I think it may have been from the fall 2012 collection featuring Lana Del Rey. It sold so quick!

Anyways, this top to me just feels a little more proper. With the high neck and 3/4 length sleeve, it's definitely on the more mature side. I love the print on it and thought it would be best to pair it with pants and not jeans. I went with maroon because there are hints of the same color on the print. 





I kept accessories super simple. With the high neck, I knew I needed some sort of statement necklace but nothing bold or colorful. You all know I am a silver gal and that's what I went with today. My usual bracelet and watch to help tie the hardware together throughout the outfit.

Shoes are just a little heel bootie. Black felt too dark and the tan just felt better with the maroon. I think the heel completes the look and the fringe detail is fun!
